When we have benefits or acts, try to get in-kind sponsorship from media (KLCC, KWAX etc.) |
Non-profit flyers
THe brochure Rebecca made ... needs to be in more flyer racks. |
Special event posters
Notify the membership whenever you need a poster. |
Announce at all events
Announce milongas, especially special ones, at all Tango classes & events in town. Especially the university classes. |

Sponsorship
Get media & businesses to sponsor an event. This means they pay for some of the advertising, in exchange they are listed in the ad as a sponsor, or if they pay for more, as the Presenter. Media can do this with their own paper, airtime etc. We would also list them in the Tango Times.

Free tickets, classes, etc.
For free airtime, or printspace, offer free passes to milongas etc ... on radio and print especially. [Less common on TV.]

Sponsored passes
For example, starving artists from one organization can get free milonga passes, in exchange for a mention in their program. Eugene ballet, Lord Leebrick, ACE Cabaret, etc. This also increases the grassroots community connection among otherwise disparate groups.
