Javier Masri
Javier Masri manages the electrotango group Tanghetto.
The group already has an important carreer in Argentina and strong presence abroad. Nominated 2 times for the Latin Grammy Awards, their debut album "Emigrante" achieved gold sales in Argentina in 2005. Recent activities include a show at the CITA 2006 event in Buenos Aires with Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes. This March 18th the group played at the ND Ateneo theatre in Buenos Aires, with performers Chicho Frumboli, Celine Ruiz, Fabian Salas, Carolina del Rivero, Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes.
Next activities include two european tours and the Sacramento Neo Tango Festival in Sacramento CA with Sebastian Arce & Mariana Montes, and Chicho Frumboli & Eugenia Parrilla (April 27-30th).
We'd like to make contact with tango organizers that are interested in taking advantage of the presence of the group in the States, in order to organize concerts around that time.

Dates etc.
We must be in Sacramento on Thursday 27th and the concert will be on Friday 28th. The range of dates is (so far) from Sunday 29th on, not further than May 10th. Unfortunately a lot of organizers from different places of the US (even from places as far away as NC or NH!) contacted us but still we don't have concrete gig dates. Our most realistic bet is to arrange a series of concerts limited to Northwest Coast only, which would be absolutely great anyway.
Other plans include a visit to "Morning Becomes Eclectic", a radio show at KCRW (a very important station in L.A.), but still unconfirmed. We'll try to do this before the festival.
Don't hesitate to ask any question. Technical rider and additional backline requirements are available if you need them.

One more thing, that I forgot to tell you: Lara from Portland already contacted us and seems interested. She is in touch with Alex Krebs also. Possibly you all can arrange the dates. This would work in order to reduce costs and optimize the time.
