The Student Peace Alliance unites youth from across
the country around the common goal of establishing a
Department of Peace and Nonviolence. The Student
Peace Alliance advocates for the creation of a
Department of Peace through education and grassroots
action.
The strategy of prevention and education that a U.S.
Department of Peace and Nonviolence will provide will
not only improve the quality of life in our country
but the relationship between the United States and the
rest of the world, as well. It is only by creating a
cabinet level position that we can give institutional
heft to the successful science fo peacebuilding.
When: 7pm-9pm
What: Meeting with acoustic music, snacks, information
and planning
for the Student Peace Alliance in Eugene
We will discuss how to organize the group in
Eugene focusing on High School and College Aged youth. |
